Deciding on Places to Eat in Las Vegas
Because Las Vegas is known for spending, it’s important to find the deals where you can.
Being mindful of how you spend your money in Vegas can save you from post-vacation depression. Check out some of our other tips for visiting Sin City on a budget.
As a Vegas local who also eats on a budget 🙂 I highly recommend Battistas Hole in the wall over right next to the Linq. They have their own small parking lot. Meals include unlimited salad/soup and bottomlest house wine with good portions for the entree’s which range between $10 and $30 but the amount of stuff you get is worth it. I’ll have to check the rest of these out as the only one I’ve been to is Evel Pie (Quite often as well)
Vegas Steve we have just begun our Vegas research and would love hearing other recommendations you might have to offer. We are doing a wedding and vacation combined.
Oh and their is a place on the west side called Dim-Sum cafe where you can get cheap serving of Dim Sum that is also great on a budget.
Thank you Steve for the tip we’ll try those places asap 🙂
Can’t leave out Ellis Island. Cheap beer and cheap food. They brew in house too.

Vegas Steve – I’m from Wichita KS and travel to Vegas at least once a year, I absolutely LOVE Battista’s. I tell everyone about it! We’re going out again in June and haven’t eaten there the last couple trips we’ve been out so I think I’m due again. Their lasagna is the bomb!
Vegas Steve came to Vegas maybe 12 years ago. Stayed at the Riviera ,had a blast. I can’t remember the Buffett, but we took a limo ride and it was $7.77. I think the restaurant was red, white, and black checkered. I’m hoping to make a trip back one day soon..
I Love all the spots you suggested but there is one spot that you missed and it’s across the street from Arepas next to gas station and that place is called Bajamar Best best shrimp, octopus tacos and tostadas I have ever tasted best quality very friendly and reasonable you need to try it out can’t believe you missed that spot!
I love Cornish Pasty. Great food. Very affordable
100% agree with Peppermill. It’s one of my go to spots. Especially after a boozy night out.
Don’t be put off by the prices. The food actually comes in massive portions. I’ve shared just the nachos with 3-4 people before while enjoying some of their amazing frozen drinks.
