The Best New Shows in Las Vegas You Need To See in 2025
When it comes to entertainment, Las Vegas never disappoints. Sure, it’s known for its long-running classics, but each year brings in a treasure trove of fresh, spellbinding shows that take things to new heights.
Now, here’s the thing: there’s just so much to do in the city, and the classic shows are really good. When people leave Vegas, they always say, “I’ll do this other thing next time.” This means that visitors might not know about some of the newer shows, especially because recent data from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority suggests that the average person who visits Las Vegas tends to return once every couple of years.
So to keep you updated, we’re going to give you a list of the best new shows in Las Vegas. We’ll cover a few shows that have launched since 2022 and give you a sneak peek of what’s scheduled in 2025.
Whether you’re a local or a visitor, there’s always something new not to be missed. Here’s a list of shows before we go into more detail.

The Sphere Experience: Postcard From Earth (2023)
Okay, you’ve probably heard of the Sphere. It’s one of the world’s great, modern, technological architectural wonders. As well as admiring the building from the outside, you can actually go inside and watch a show.
Imagine a visual spectacle that transports you to different corners of the Earth, all from your seat. The Sphere Experience: Postcard From Earth is precisely that. This show takes you on a 50-minute journey that blends advanced technology with breathtaking stage design. You’ll feel movement, vibrations, and even smell the environment in a true 4D experience. The LED screen will provide 18 K-resolution imagery. Think of it as a high-definition, immersive postcard from our planet.
This show is very popular, and the best seats do go fast. Prices start at around $90. To find the best place to sit, check out the Sphere seating chart.
Show Time: Daily at 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM, Additional 11:00 AM shows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Awakening at Wynn (2022)
Awakening at the Wynn is a true spectacle. As the name suggests, the show takes place at the Wynn, inside the custom-designed Awakening Theater. A Vegas rule of thumb is that if the show has its own theatre, then you know it’s going to be good.
The show takes place on a 60-foot diameter rotating stage, it rises, falls, and provides a stunning experience. The makers of The Lion King created the show, so you know it’s going to be good. This performance really captures the imagination with its intricate themes and stunning visuals.
Awakening is one of those shows that you watch with anyone. You can take your family (kids five and older), your partner, and even your friends. Ticket prices start at $79, and Awakening is the perfect show to enjoy a magical evening in Las Vegas. If you want to learn more, then why not explore our Awakening seating chart?
Show Time: Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM

Lionel Richie – King of Hearts (2023 to 2025)
Yes, you read that right. The living legend Lionel Richie will be playing in Las Vegas.
Lionel Richie is continuing his residency at the Encore Theatre at the Wynn with his King of Hearts show in 2025. The residency has been ongoing since 2023 and has been extended a few times, but based on Lionel’s international tour, early 2025 is likely to be the last time you’ll catch him in Vegas for a while. So, the January and April dates are perfect if you missed out on seeing him in November and the year before.
Tickets start at $175 but expect higher prices if you’re buying on resale.
Come see Richie live at 8 PM on January 15, 18, 19, and April 9, 11, 12.
Show Time: 8:00 PM on select dates
Show Run Time: Around an hour.
Nate Bargatze: Big Dumb Eyes World Tour (2025)
Another show at the Wynn, this time, we’re talking comedy. If comedy is what you’re after you will want to go and see Nate Bargatze. He is known for his charmingly dry humor, and he’s bringing his Big Dumb Eyes World Tour to Las Vegas.
His show offers a brilliant mix of observational comedy and personal anecdotes that leave you laughing long after it ends; unlike some other comedy shows in Las Vegas, his shows are clean and relatable.
If you’re looking for tickets, then act fast. Tickets start at $110.
Show Time: Jan 8-11, Jan 29 & 31, Feb 1 (7.30 and 10.30), March 19-22. Limited dates, two shows on each ate at 7.30 PM and 10.30 PM.
Show Run Time: 60 to 90 minutes.
Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil (2022)
Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil at New York Hotel and Casino is the latest Cirque du Soleil experience.
We call it an experience because that’s the best way to describe the franchise. Cirque du Soleil doesn’t create shows. They create something bigger.
Mad Apple is not your typical Cirque du Soleil performance; Mad Apple is a fusion of comedy, music, and acrobatics that’s inspired by the vibrant energy of New York. Unlike other Cirque du Soleil shows, Mad Apple is tailored specifically towards adults. Tickets start at $49 and go up to $175.
Show Time: Thursday to Monday, 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM
Show Run Time: 80 minutes.
Janet Jackson (2024 to 2025)
Next, we’re heading to Resorts World, where music icon Janet Jackson returns for a limited-time residency.
This is not just a concert; it’s an event. Jackson’s show is electrifying from start to finish, featuring a mix of her greatest hits and new chart-toppers.
You can catch her show on December 30th, 2024, and NYE on December 31st. There are eight additional dates in 2025.
Performances are at 8:30 PM on select dates, with tickets starting from $90. Expect to pay more on resale, but seeing Janet live is worth every penny.
Show Time: 8:30 PM on select dates
Show Run Time: 60 to 90 minutes.
Colin Cloud Mastermind (2024)
Rounding off our list is Colin Cloud Mastermind. Launched in 2024 at Harrah’s, Colin Cloud’s show is the newest magic show in Las Vegas. The show is an extraordinary blend of psychology, humor, and jaw-dropping mentalism. Tickets start at $32 if you use our link below, and his performances will invite you to question reality itself.
