Couple-friendly Places in Las Vegas
When you think of Las Vegas, what comes to mind? Common answers are sex, glamor, expensive casinos, and lots of gambling and alcohol.
Doesn’t sound like a very couple-friendly place, does it? In fact, Vegas can be very accommodating to those in committed relationships. You just need to know where to look.
There are places made for romanticism and fun, ranging from casinos to trips away from the city. Ready to see everything on our list? Keep reading!
The Strat Skypod
The best way to experience Vegas is from above. And there’s no better place to do that than from The Strat Skypod.
There, you’ll be 1,149 feet high on the tallest freestanding observation tower in the U.S. You’ll get a 360-degree view of the Strip and beyond on their observation deck.
What makes it a romantic spot for couples is the Top of the World restaurant. You and your significant other will dine right beside floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking all the lights of the city.
Grand Canyon
We know what you’re thinking: the Grand Canyon isn’t in Las Vegas! Hear us out anyway.
Imagine taking your loved one for an amazing helicopter ride that starts in Las Vegas, flies over the Strip, and then 4,000 feet below the rim of the Grand Canyon. Once you land at the bottom, there’s a picnic with champagne waiting.
To make it even grander, you can choose your own adventure to explore the canyon whether by horseback, ATV, Jeep, and more. On your way there and back, you’ll see gorgeous views of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and Grapevine Mesa.
The LINQ High Roller Wheel
To impress the one you’re with, you need to go big or go home. And what’s bigger than the world’s tallest observation wheel? Nothing, obviously.
You’ll be 550 feet above the Strip with 360-degree views. This attraction is great for couples looking for something interesting while still having the rest of the day to explore Vegas. To complete one revolution, it takes 30 minutes.
If you really want to go all out, opt for the cabin which has an open bar. What’s called their “happy half-hour” features a bar equipped with popular spirits and a bartender to serve it to you.
Paris Las Vegas
Already been to the Stratosphere? Another place to experience the Strip from above is from the viewing deck of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas.
Who says you have to actually be in Paris to experience romance on the Eiffel Tower? The Paris Las Vegas comes in as a close second with its replication of the real thing.
It’s 46 stories high, giving you a bird’s eye view of the city skyline. To make it even better, there’s a nightly light show with over 300 light fixtures and 800 strobe lights. It’ll be one show you’ll never forget as you both look over the Strip together.
The Venetian
We’ve been to Paris (Las Vegas), now it’s time to head to Italy, all without leaving the Strip! As soon as you step foot onto the Venetian, it feels like you are teleported to a whole different country.
The best part about this resort, besides the food, is their famous gondola rides. You and your other half can have a whole gondola to yourself, equipped with a singing gondolier.
You’ll glide down the Grand Canal, taking in all the sites of this replication of Venice. Take it a step further by taking the outside route. You’ll go outside the property, absorbing all the sights and sounds of the Strip.
The Spa at Wynn
After a long day of exciting adventures, what better way to unwind than with a couple’s massage? The Spa at Wynn is not only gorgeous but relaxing.
There’s a sauna, steam room, deluge showers, and whirlpools to help you recharge. If you want to have separate massages, there’s a whole range of special treatments like their Oil Infusion Massage and their Men’s Executive Retreat.
Want massages side by side? Choose from three different massage therapies.
There’s the Couple’s Good Luck Ritual, which promotes happiness and luck through a custom massage, foot treatment, hand therapy, and scalp massage. Their Couple’s Tropical Journey uses steamed coconut compresses and coconut oil to enhance your experience. Last but not least, there’s the Couple’s Desert Stone Indulgence which promises to send you both into deep relaxation.
Neon Museum
Whether you’re first-time visitor or love the history of Sin City, there’s no better place to experience the way Vegas used to be than the Neon Museum. It’s a non-profit organization that preserves and restores old signs.
Known as the Boneyard, you’ll both walk through years of Las Vegas history with signs belonging to torn-down casinos and hotels. They even have pieces from the 1930s!
Tours are either self-guided or with a tour guide. Not only is the Neon Museum the best place to learn more about Vegas history but you can make a little history of your own by using it as a wedding venue!
When visiting, be sure to wear closed-toe shoes. There’s a lot of debris on the ground from broken bulbs and metal pieces.
Topgolf at MGM
For a unique adventure, head to Topgolf at the MGM Grand. It’s a golf-themed bar and climate-controlled golfing venue.
Don’t worry, it’s not expectant for anyone to have an amazing swing or vast knowledge of the sport. It’s more for having fun, enjoying cocktails and tacos with the one you love most.
Prepare to Be Romanced
With all these couple-friendly places in Las Vegas, you’ll have plenty of date ideas next time you both visit. Instead of Vegas being a no-go, you can now enjoy it without any awkwardness or backlash from your partner.
