Go Big or Go Home … or Go to California!
The World Series Of Poker (WSOP) is reaching the money today with a field that will pass the bubble and its 1.011 ITM-spots tonight with a minimum cash of $15.000. On the side, the very last event of the series has started today at 3 pm. As a matter of fact, Flight C of the Little One for One Drop is the very last opportunity to register a gold bracelet event for this year’s WSOP.
Tomorrow, the Main Event will reach Day 4 and the huge center stage is being built since yesterday in the Amazon Room in order for ESPN to broadcast the biggest Poker show on the planet until we have reached the final nine that will then return in late October for the final table. All the actions can be followed as usual on wsop.com .
In the other rooms of the Rio, the pace is slowing down and it will not be long until the tables and chairs start to disappear leaving a feeling of emptiness behind after weeks of intense Poker action during more than 12 hours per day 7/7.
All the players still involved in some of these last tournaments are carrying high hopes of success but for most of the WSOP 2016 participants, the Poker party is over after almost 70 events. Most of them have already flown home and others are looking to chill out a bit after a few weeks of Sin City madness. LasVegasJaunt.com will still be there for all of you guys looking for a great treat in one of our partner hotels that you can use as a headquarter for your chill-out sessions with nice, not at all Poker related, excursions in the area. Why not, for instance, quickly hop to the Grand Canyon or to the California Pacific coast. These locations are only 4 or 5 hours away by car and can also easily be reached by helicopter or plane.
Below, you will find pictures of the legendary Bay Area outside Los Angeles. Enjoy!
