If you find any errors in our table please let us know by using the comments below! Also feel free to share your experiences and your feelings with respect to the resort fees.
Such a rip off. Vegas used to be cheap for food and stay and leave money for gambling. Now its so expensive and the resort fees are ridiculous. I dont go to workout or talk on my phone. They should get rid of them.
Couldn’t agree with you more!!!
Tuscany website shows $29 fee as of February 2019
u for whatever reason, dont list one of the hotels without a resort fee, which i use everytime for this reason. extended stay america, they have 3 vegas locations. why does the author refuse to list them?
Please can u tell which hotels are those 3?ty
Congress should investigate these hotels the room rates should be included with the resort fees. Come on you liberals in Congress and States Attorney Generals do something!!!
I couldn’t agree more! It’s like being robbed on your way out of Vegas any fun you’ve had pops and floats away in the air, leaves you with a terrible taste in your mouth!! Shame on you!!
What are these hotels?
Don’t be fooled by some resorts which do not charge a resort fee. For instance, I compared Treasure Island which charges a resort fee & Casino Royale in the same proximity on the strip. The price per room charged by Casino Royale is comparable to the price per room plus the resort fee at Treasure Island.
I used to go to Vegas frequently but the owners have priced themselves out of the market so I do not go anymore.
I am Canadian & the exchange rate is another deterrent. I go to Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls & have a great time for much less.
Be aware & do your homework.
Good luck !!!
I Googled “vegas hotels no resort fees 2019”. The first hotel on the page is: SLS Las Vegas Hotel | No Resort Fees
http://www.slslasvegas.com/
Out of curiosity, I entered dates in April & this popped up:
GRAND TOWER KING with One King Bed
From Original price USD 88.00 Your price with applicable discounts USD 42.00 / night Room details BOOK NOW
Excludes nightly Resort Fee of $37.95 + tax
LOL.
This is clearly misleading advertising.
Just check out if the SLS. 3 nights resort fees were 140. Such a rip off! Never again! SLS sucked!
This is why I won’t go to Vegas anymore.
Ridiculous…Aria for 7 nights…$273.00 resort fee at check out. $39 a night. I was here for work…never swam or used an amenity. Have my own hot spot and never worked out. If it wasn’t for business and our company footing the bill, I’d never come back. It’s stealing.
Treasure Island is $41 Inc tax! Wtf
Only hotels that don’t charge resort fees are
2019.

Even Laughin and primm charges resort fees now and those are all so run down. I love Vegas but even my off strip places got as high. I loved staying at the California and main street. Rates were 28/35 during the week, free on Tuesday’s, 10or15 bucks per day food & bev credit, no resort fee. Now resort fees and prices doubled and tripled. Same as the canneries and Sam’s town. Doubled in price and fees.
All the money saved I used on gambling, dining, drinks at their casinos and shows elsewhere. Everything changed for the worse once city center was built. That’s when the fees and incidentals started. Don’t forget those holds, worse than the fees. Even that u get it back you have to wait and if ur on a budget that takes away from it. Like look at aria incidentals is 150 per day. Add that up plus the 44 resort fee plus tax Plus rate. Insane.
Add $37 + tax daily resort fee at TI Las Vegas & the price is double
I used to go twice a year to the Luxor .I don’t anymore I feel the comp room is such a lie .resort fee of 35.00 and I get nothing for it.pool should be included with stay and they charge to park too. So I quit going .I will just go elsewhere. Good luck staying in business.
Same deal here…. as a Caesars Total Rewards card carrier since 1987, I flat out refuse to go to Vegas since they instituted Resort Fees and Pay Parking. SOOOOOOOOOO many other choices closer to home that will allow me to play, big or small, without any fees whatsoever and free parking!
IF they get rid of the fees and re-institute free parking, I MAY go back to Vegas…. time will tell.
Just back from a week at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Resort fee was £504! Staggering. Was a very expensive trip from U.K.
hi how can itbe 504 pounds its only 39 a night in dollors =£273
Only. $23 daily added to a motel bill?!
As an oldster grinding out a sawbuck per hour playing poker, these naked greed junk fees are a game changer. We are being served in the manner bulls serve cows.
I’m here now – cosmopolitan is $50 per night plus tax
Thanks for the update Giustin, are you sure this is the resort fee because the Cosmo ebsite still mention this today: “At The Cosmopolitan, we have bundled everyday essentials into one nightly charge of $39 (plus tax).”
I quit going after these “resort fees” which provide you nothing more than any regular hotel, I now stay at the local indian casinos for waaaaay cheaper vegas is overhyped.
i do agree the fee is a stupid way to not attract new or old guest not used to that yes years ago vegas was great buffet no more of $15 now double rooms aat 18 and up no fees i paid for a small bottle of water 4.75 coffee 5.00 i go to laughlin is a better place adios las $$$$ vegas
Just got ripped off at the wynn $39 a day plus $5 for tax what a rip off never again
We used to go to LV 2 – 3 times a year, no more.
The resort fees are a rip off.
Was about to book LA. but reading these reviews I not sure if I want to go now.can anyone recommend a reasonable hotel without resort fees
My son is treating me to go with him, but don’t want him ripped off.
Sheila.
Hi Sheila,
The Palms has just been renovated and is running a no resort fee offer at the moment, here is the link to the offer: Palms no resort fee offer.
It is very close to the strip and a very nice resort even more since the renovation, i think it’s a great option at the moment!
Hi my first time going next month I got my holiday through travel agent with flights and room. I understand I need to pay resort fees but is that it?
Tropicana is 37 usd
I haven’t been to LV in a while and now that I see these blatant rip offs, I’ll not ever return. Lots of other casino towns now.
I started to plan a visit and saw these fees for the first time. No more LV for me.
I have been to Vegas 11 times over the last 20 years and loved every minute but since this rip off resort tax has been introduced I will never go there again, or America come to that.i can remember when after 9/11 America were pleading visitors to come to America I for one never stopped travelling to the USA but sorry now I have such a shame
For those who are interested, if you sign up for the player’s club at Treasure Island, and play a reasonable amount at their casino, they will send you offers for future stays where the resort fee is optional. Most recent offer came with room rates starting at $60 per night mid-week and $100 per night on Friday and Saturday. I don’t know exactly what you have to play to get these offers, but I am not a high-roller by any stretch of the imagination ($1 video poker and $10 blackjack player…)
The resort fee at Aria, Vdara and Bellagio just increased their resort fee FROM $39/night + tax = $44.22/night TO $45/night + tax = $51.02/night as of 08/01/2019.
We also going Vegas on 8th September staying at MGM we only just found out about tesort fees called Travel Agent who we booked with they said we were told we wasnt and a Deposit aswell which you do get back but we going New York to got to pay there as well just Great.
Is the resort fee per person or for the room?
Thanks
The resort fee is charged per room per night
Looking for lodging nearest to T Mobile Arena but dont want the resort fees, any recommendations?
Screw them all I will to Indian Reservation, I liked Vegas won’t go there anymore.
Screw Las Vegas!! will to Indian reservations
Was planning a trip to Vegas for 6 nights. Room at Flamingo looked really nice and affordable..Until they added Resort fee and parking. Forget about it. If they think I am gonna go there and lose my money gambling AND pay those fees they are stupid.Booked trip to Boca Raton instead. STUPID VEGAS good luck filling those gazillion hotel rooms
come on. The resort fees are misleading, but take a pencil and paper add them and the hotel cost together. You still have a very nice room for around $70 per night (if you aren’t trying to impress your date at Bellagios). The hotels all had to adopt this scam because any hotel that was up-front with price and no resort fee was priced out by us cheap bastards that only looked at one price. I still consider parking when picking out my hotel, though.
USED to go up to 5x year. Now ZERO. Resort fees and pay for parking…..bull. Will laugh when you take some BIG losses.
I have stopped going to Vegas. There are casinos in many other places with no resort fees and piece of trash Taxi drivers
nice list. i think you should delete “THE” from the hotels such as THE ORLEANS, THE MIRAGE, etc. List them as ORLEANS under O and MIRAGE under M. IT just makes it confusing that certain hotels are listed under T.
Has anyone had success in booking directly with the hotel and negotiating the resort fee? To maybe get them to include something I will ACTUALLY use? Free meals, tickets to shows etc, vs gym (i didn’t come to the city of decadence to workout), and long distance calls?! Who doesn’t have a call phone these days?
They have to increase resort fees to make up for the tax that was raised on the rooms that goes to pay for that new football stadium for the Raiders next year
The Orleans is now 24.99 before tax
Just visit end of July 2019. Vegas is not the same anymore. Resort fees is a joke. And on top of that you stay at a cosino hotel and the you have to pay for parking at hotel your staying at.come on. Plus everything on the strip closes early. Vegas is going down hill. It’s all about money. Bring back Vegas the way it was.
Treasure Island offers a TV Ad Special that can be booked directly from their website with OPTIONAL resort fee. That is, if you confirm that offer (only), you can decline the resort fee at check-in.
I was too surprised by the resort fees. I didn’t know until we were about to leave. I was so happy my trip was so cheap. The resort fees added $120, my trip was not so cheap anymore. Never again, I feel gipped, they don’t need to charge the fees, it’s pure greed. Now they are going to lose people like me now. So dumb.
I used to go to Vegas at least once a year, there have been times I’ve visited 2 or 3 times a year. The room rates used to be reasonable, there was free parking and the buffets were also reasonable. When the American Greed syndrome struck Vegas and the hotels started charging for parking, charging resort fees, whatever that means, tripling the price at the buffets and making the odds of winning at gaming nearly impossible, I stopped going and will never return. The only way to show your disapproval is to stop visiting. By complaining about the fees but continuing to pay them tells the owners they can continue to take advantage of you.
Havent been to Vegas for years because resort fees and last time they were installing parking turnstiles everywhere.
There was a time I was there every second month. The Casino/Hotel treated me great and in return I lost money. Now? Its all nonsense and I dont go. They havent gotten a single nickel and I dont miss them as the family circus they kept turning towards wasnt for me anyhow.
The only way resort fees will dissapear is to stop visiting las vegas for a while. Let them feel the pain.
My wife wanted to go to Vegas but I explained that we can easily afford to go, but on a moral basis, WE WON”T … just because of the rip off Resort Fee which includes NOTHING !
We’re gong to San Fransisco instead …. no gambling, which we don’t do any way. Better restaurants a and lots to do. NO RESORT FEES ! ! !
Visited Las Vegas for the first time in September 2019. A co-worker of mine, who has been a frequent Vegas visitor, suggested I sign-up for an M-Life (MGM) points card and Caesars Rewards card. I stayed at the Rio and paid the room charges plus Resort Fees and played the slots with both cards. I was somewhat surprised to receive a “comp room” offer for Excalibur Hotel (M-Life) after just one visit. I booked another trip in December using this offer and will be paying the resort fee for 3 days (about $ 120). Weekend hotel rates in downtown Portland and Seattle can run $ 250 – $ 300 per night and nice resorts $150 – $200. There are some minor things I don’t like such as no coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms. You have to go downstairs to Starbucks and pay $ 5.50 for coffee in the morning. I don’t like the resort fees, but with over 150,000 hotel rooms in Vegas, some deals still seem available if you check a lot of properties and visit weekdays and off-season.
Why do I need to pay to make phone calls..doesn’t everyone have a cell phone theses days? And I don’t need the fitness center on vacation. Hotels not in Vegas have free WiFi…these fees are bs.
Was going to visit in December for 10 nights we would like to stay on strips better casino hotels not now we will stay at Turning Stone casino for comp nights and only 15 minutes from home they treat us like family there sure some days u lose money but no flights no ripoff resort fees when u get comp rooms here they are comped no tax no resort fees and this is NYS maybe with any luck Vegas will return to dust like the rest of the desert GOOD LUCK ASSHOLES
