Now You See Me Live is the stage adaptation of Lionsgate’s heist-magic film franchise, and it makes its United States premiere at the MGM Grand Theater on October 15, 2026. The engagement is scheduled to run through January 5, 2027 — this is a limited season, not an open-ended residency.

The production arrives in Las Vegas after sold-out runs in Sydney, Perth and Singapore. Rather than building the evening around a single headliner, it puts a full cast of illusionists on stage and threads the tricks through a heist storyline, closer to a theatrical production than a traditional magic revue.

It also marks a changing of the guard on the Strip. The MGM Grand Theater is the room where David Copperfield performed for 25 years until his final show on April 30, 2026. One magician has left it; four have moved in.

Expect large-scale stage illusions, close-up work projected for the whole house, and the kind of set pieces the films are known for — vanishes, escapes and misdirection built into the plot rather than presented one after another.

The show is family-friendly. The MGM Grand engagement carries an age policy of five and up, with guests under 18 accompanied by an adult, which makes it one of the few Strip productions that works for a mixed-age group without compromise.

Seating in the MGM Grand Theater is tiered by category. Category D sits furthest back and carries the lowest price, while Category B brings you close enough to follow the sleight of hand without the projection screens. For a show built on misdirection, proximity genuinely changes the experience.

Because this is a limited season over the holidays, the strongest dates — mid-December through New Year’s — will move first. If your trip falls in that window, book earlier than you normally would for a Vegas show.
