Omega Mart is Meow Wolf’s walk-through art installation at AREA15, the entertainment complex on Rancho Drive west of the Strip. At first it looks like a supermarket stocked with products that couldn’t exist; the fun is finding the hidden portals and secret rooms that lead out of it. Allow about two hours, or stay until closing.
What to expect
You start in the store, where nearly everything on the shelves is made by artists and really for sale. Then it opens into strange, dreamlike rooms to wander, touch and play with. To follow the story, pick up an Omega Access Card when you arrive: with it, staff playing Omega Mart and Dramcorp employees and hours of video, you piece together the mystery behind the products, which can add about two hours.
Some evenings it becomes Night Shift, a 21+ version with its own soundtrack, moodier lighting and drinks at Datamosh, the bar tucked inside.
Good to know
General admission is for ages 13 and up, there’s a child ticket for ages 4 to 12, and kids 3 and under get in free. There’s also a VIP package, and Omega Quest adds VIP entry and a scavenger hunt.
Children under 16 need an adult with them. Anyone under 21 who leaves after 10 PM may be asked to leave AREA15, so families should pick an earlier slot.
Entry is timed: more than 30 minutes late, you get in only if there’s room, and there’s no re-entry.
Strollers and selfie sticks must be checked, for a fee. No outside food or drinks, but you can bring an empty bottle to fill inside.
Wheelchairs and scooters are welcome, with elevators and accessible restrooms. Doors to strobe-lit areas are marked, guest services has sensory bags, and AREA15 parking is free.
