I’m Erwan, originally from France, I’ve had a deep love for Las Vegas ever since my first visit.
My journey to this incredible city began when I was 21, after I spent a few months working summer jobs in California I embarked on a classic Western U.S. road trip, and that's when I set foot in Las Vegas for the first time. I was hooked, and Las Vegas Jaunt was born.
Like many visitors, I was drawn to the city's iconic casinos (I'm an avid gambler - though a careful and savvy one!) - but it wasn't just the casino games that captivated me. I immediately fell for the vibrant atmosphere, the round-the-clock entertainment, and the sheer variety of experiences the city offers. From dazzling shows and world-class restaurants to the diverse hotels that line the Strip and Fremont Street, I was hooked. Every hotel felt like its own unique adventure, and I found that exploring them was an attraction in itself.
Since that first visit, I've made the 11-hour flight from Europe to Las Vegas every single year - sometimes even three, or four times in a one year. I make the most our of every trip, staying for at least two to three weeks at a time. This let's me really soak in the atmosphere - over the years I've had the chance to stay in just about every hotel you can name on both the Strip and Fremont Street.
Back in the day, when I was a student traveling on a tight budget, I’d split a $25-a-night room at The Stratosphere (now The STRAT) with three friends—no resort fees in those days! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown to appreciate a bit more luxury and comfort, so now I often stay at my personal favorites, like Aria, Cosmopolitan, or Wynn. I want to make one thing clear - I never lose that sense of excitement, each time I visit Vegas I look forward to discovering new hotels and hidden gems off the Strip whenever I can.
My passion for Las Vegas has only grown over the years, and now, my wife shares that same love for the city. Together, we’ve explored every corner of Vegas and its surroundings, taking full advantage of our long stays.Whether it’s catching the latest shows, diving into the endless attractions, or taking a break with a scenic road trip to one of the many beautiful destinations just a few hours from Vegas, we’re always on the lookout for new experiences.
