Las Vegas Parking Fees 2026: Every Hotel and Where It’s Free

Almost every major resort in Las Vegas charges for parking now. Rates change without much warning, they vary by day of the week, and the same hotel can charge you two different prices depending on whether you booked a room there.

We checked the official parking page of every property on this list in July 2026, so the numbers below come from the resorts themselves rather than from other guides. Use the search box to jump straight to your hotel.

Las Vegas Parking Fees by Hotel

Rates verified against each resort’s official parking page in July 2026. Prices can rise during conventions, holidays and major events at Allegiant Stadium, T-Mobile Arena or Sphere.

How to Avoid Paying for Parking

Paying full price for parking in Las Vegas is mostly optional if you know how the systems work. Some of these methods take five minutes to set up, others depend on where you were already planning to go.

Sign up for the players club

This is the single most effective thing you can do, and it costs nothing. Every major group waives parking above a certain tier, and the tiers are lower than most people assume.

At MGM properties, Pearl status and above gets free self-parking, and Gold and above adds valet. Holding an MGM Rewards Mastercard also qualifies you regardless of tier. Caesars waives both self-parking and valet from Platinum upward. Venetian and Palazzo start free self-parking at Sapphire, with valet from Ruby. Wynn and Encore cover Chairman, Black and Platinum members for self-parking, though valet is limited to Chairman and Black. Resorts World includes Elite, Prime, Monarch and Imperial tiers. At the Strat, True Rewards members at Solid, Legit or Epic park free.

If you gamble at all during your trip, reaching one of these tiers is realistic. Even if you don’t, signing up before you arrive costs you nothing.

Use your military status

Active military and veterans can request a Caesars Rewards Salute card, which grants Platinum status immediately. That means free self-parking and valet across all Caesars properties in Las Vegas. MGM runs a comparable upgrade for service members.

Park once and move around

Registered hotel guests at MGM properties get in and out privileges across every MGM resort in Las Vegas for the full 24 hours, within the same parking type. Park at Bellagio in the morning, drive to Mandalay Bay in the afternoon, come back in the evening, and you pay once. Your room key works until 11:59 pm on the day you check out.

Caesars applies the same principle to self-parking, where your room key opens any Caesars garage in the city. Valet works differently there: each property charges you separately.

One catch worth knowing. At MGM, visitors who aren’t staying at the hotel get no in and out privileges at all. Leave the garage and you start a new transaction.

If you live in Nevada

Almost every resort gives locals three hours free, but the way you claim it varies and getting it wrong costs you the discount.

At MGM properties you scan your Nevada driver’s licence at the exit gate. If you pay at one of the walk-up kiosks first, the free hours don’t apply. Venetian works the opposite way: you scan at the self-parking kiosk.

Resorts World and the Strat both go by licence plate rather than driver’s licence, and both give locals free parking outright rather than three hours. Fontainebleau currently gives Nevada residents free self-parking through September 7, 2026.

None of these local benefits apply on event nights.

Let a restaurant or a table game pay for it

Downtown properties are generous with validation, and most visitors never ask.

Boyd properties like California and Main Street Station validate your ticket if you spend thirty dollars at one of their restaurants or earn ten tier credits gaming. Binion’s and Four Queens both validate for dining or for five points earned on an ALL ACCESS card. Plaza validates for a meal at Oscar’s Steakhouse, a bingo session, a visit to Hogs and Heifers, or a twenty-five dollar keno game. Golden Nugget validates for gaming or dining. Fontainebleau lets you validate valet by dining, shopping or booking a treatment at the spa, though this one excludes hotel guests.

Stay somewhere that doesn’t charge

Sahara, Circus Circus and Treasure Island still park everyone for free, hotel guest or not. Wynn and Encore give all visitors three hours before anything is charged, which covers dinner or a show. Fontainebleau gives everyone the first hour.

Where to Park for Free

Here is where you can still park for free on the Strip as of July 2026.

• Sahara parks everyone free, self-parking and valet both, with no time limit. It is one of the last places on the Strip where valet costs nothing.
• Circus Circus offers free self-parking to hotel guests and visitors alike. There is no valet service on the property.
• Treasure Island parks anyone free, and that includes people coming only for a show, a meal or the shops rather than staying the night. Valet is free too, with a tip expected. If you drive something tall, note the clearance drops to six foot ten on levels three through seven.

• Casino Royale is free, but only for hotel guests. The garage is not open to the public, which catches a lot of people out.

• Beyond the resorts, Fashion Show Mall stays free and sits within walking distance of Wynn, Encore and Resorts World. The Shops at Crystals, The Shoppes at Mandalay Place and Trump Hotel offer free valet only.

How Does Paid Parking Work In Las Vegas Hotels?

• If you are a hotel guest: At most of these hotels you can use your room key to access the parking garage and the fee will then be charged to your room.
• If you are not a hotel guest: you will receive a ticket while entering the parking and can use the Pay-on-foot kiosks to pay before returning to your vehicle.
• If you have complimentary access due to your Player’s Card tier status: Scan your qualifying Player’s Card for entry and exit (you do not need to take a ticket).

Lose your ticket and you pay a flat penalty rather than the going rate. MGM charges fifty dollars a day, rising to sixty-five for vehicles over thirty feet. Boyd properties charge twenty-five.

Driving something oversized limits your options considerably. Excalibur runs the only oversized lot in the MGM portfolio, at fifty dollars per twenty-four hours, and you arrange it through the front desk of whichever MGM hotel you’re staying at. The Strat has its own oversized lot at forty dollars. Main Street Station takes RVs by reservation on 800-465-0711. Caesars Palace has a six foot ten clearance and no oversized option at all.

Electric vehicles are worth planning for. MGM charges fifteen dollars for charging at Luxor, Mandalay Bay and W Las Vegas, and only for valet customers. Venetian offers charging on level five of its garage. Plaza has free Tesla chargers by the garage entrance. Circa has none.

Leave a car parked for more than fourteen consecutive days at an MGM property and it can be booted or towed at your expense.

Event Parking and What Changes

Rates go up when the city fills. What surprises people is that you can pay event pricing without going anywhere near the event.

Venetian and Palazzo apply event rates on nights when Sphere has a headline show. Everyone entering the garage during that window pays, except registered hotel guests and Venetian Rewards members at Sapphire and above.

For events at T-Mobile Arena, the garages at ARIA, Park MGM and New York-New York switch to prepayment only, arranged in advance through ParkMobile. For Allegiant Stadium, MGM sells reserved parking at Mandalay Bay, W Las Vegas and Excalibur, which works out cheaper than turning up and paying on the day.

Local discounts and the three free hours for Nevada residents are suspended on event nights across most properties.
