The best seats at Sphere

Sphere has two layouts. For the films, the picture climbs over your head, so height and the center matter more than being close. For concerts, a standing floor and the 100 level go in front of the stage.

For the films

  • Our pick: the center of the 300 level, sections 305 to 307.
  • Best value: the center of the 400 level, usually the cheapest full view. It's steep.
  • Select seats in 206 and 306 go with the VIP packages; the far-end sections sit off the screen's axis.

For concerts

  • Our pick: the center of the 200 level (205 and 207), straight on to the stage.
  • Best value: 405 and 406 at the top, all of the screen in view.
  • 103 and 107 see the band but only part of the screen; the floor is standing room.

Sphere's rules

Before you go

  • Small bags only

Clutches, purses and fanny packs up to about 6 × 6 × 2 inches. No backpacks, and no bag or coat check. Professional cameras, selfie sticks and tripods stay outside.

  • Mobile tickets

Tickets live on your phone, and one phone can hold several. Everyone needs one: whatever their age for the film, from age 2 for concerts.

  • Doors and timing

Doors open 45 minutes before The Wizard of Oz, with no late seating, and 90 minutes before concerts. Exits are final: there's no re-entry.

  • Food and drink

No outside food or drink, not even sealed bottles. An empty, clear, soft plastic bottle is fine: there are refill stations inside.

  • Kids

The Wizard of Oz is meant for ages 6 and up. Concerts have no minimum age; Sphere suggests under-18s come with a parent or guardian.

  • Effects and access

The film shakes seats and blows wind, fog and flashing lights. Accessibility Services (725-258-6724) can seat you in a non-haptic seat; sensory rooms are on levels 2 and 6.

Getting to Sphere

On foot

From The Venetian and The Palazzo, an enclosed walkway of about 1,000 feet runs through the Venetian Expo to Sphere, so you never step outside. It can close during big conventions and for sold-out concerts: then it's the Sands Avenue sidewalk. From Wynn, Encore, Harrah's, The LINQ or Treasure Island, count 15 to 20 minutes.

By car

Sphere sells its event parking with the tickets, on Ticketmaster. Next door, The Venetian and The Palazzo charge $20 a day Monday to Thursday and $25 Friday to Sunday ($20 hotel guests all week). Wynn's first three hours are free, then $25: tight for a concert. Every Strip garage.

Rideshare and taxi

Sphere has its own rideshare lot. Lyft, its official rideshare partner since September 2026, has a dedicated pickup and drop-off zone there, with directions in the app.

Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail runs past Sphere but doesn't stop there. The nearest station, Harrah's/The LINQ, is a 12 to 20-minute walk. Landing at the airport? Our airport to the Strip guide compares the ways in.
