Looking for a promo code for the Sphere Experience in Las Vegas? You’re in the right place. We don’t need to give you an introduction to Sphere: you already know that the giant globe next to The Venetian has become one of the modern wonders of the world.
From looking like an emoji to hosting concert residencies, Sphere has become one of the most famous sights on the Las Vegas Strip. The film playing there now is The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, which replaced Postcard from Earth on August 28, 2025, and quickly became one of the city’s most popular shows. We’ve even voted it one of the best shows to watch in Las Vegas.
Now, here’s the disappointing thing.
There is no standing promo code for Sphere. There’s no need to try codes like “emoji15”, “sphere25” or “giantball30”. They will not work. However, that doesn’t mean you’re stuck paying top price.
In this guide, we’ll show you the legitimate ways to pay less for The Wizard of Oz at Sphere: which showtimes cost less, where the best-value seats are, when a VIP package is worth it, and where to book.
Why You Won’t Find Sphere Experience Promo Codes (And What to Do Instead)
Sphere sells its own tickets, through Ticketmaster and the Sphere Concierge on site, and it has little reason to discount them. The Wizard of Oz at Sphere passed $400 million in ticket sales by mid-June 2026, with more than three million tickets sold.
That’s why you won’t find working promo codes floating around online. Most of the “Sphere Experience promo codes” listed on coupon websites are either expired, fake, or simply send you back to the full-price ticket page.
Sphere does run the occasional limited-time offer of its own. Over the summer of 2026, the code USA250 took 15% off select showtimes of The Wizard of Oz for Clark County residents, U.S. military members and first responders, on tickets bought by July 5. That offer has ended, and no other code was running when we checked in early November. If a new one comes along, it will be on Sphere’s official site, not on a coupon site.
Instead of hunting for codes, compare prices before you buy. Our partner Vegas.com shows every price with taxes and fees already included, so the number you see is the number you pay. Click the image below to see today’s prices and seats for every showtime at Vegas.com, then complete your order there.

These tickets come from Vegas.com, an authorized seller, with secure checkout and real seat selection. Prefer to buy direct? Sphere’s own tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. Either way, check the price for two or three showtimes before you pick one (more on that below).
What’s Playing at Sphere Now
Sphere’s own films are called Sphere Experiences, and only one is playing right now: The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, several times a day. Its predecessor, Postcard from Earth, has no showtimes on Sphere’s site and is no longer on its show list. Tickets for The Wizard of Oz are on sale through May 31, 2027.
The next film is The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Sphere, which Sphere Studios announced in June 2026 and expects to open in 2027. No opening date had been announced as of November 2026, and it is expected to share the schedule with The Wizard of Oz rather than replace it.
Between film showings, Sphere hosts concert residencies, each with its own tickets and prices:
- Eagles, through January 23, 2027
- Metallica, through March 13, 2027
- Backstreet Boys: an F1 Afterparty on race night, November 21, 2026 (for three-day race ticket holders), then December 26, 27, 29 and 31, 2026, and January 1 and 2, 2027 (8 PM, 10 PM on New Year’s Eve)
- In 2027: Oprah Winfrey’s AHA (April 2 to 4), John Mayer (April 8 to June 12) and Carín León (September 15 to 18)
Everything below is about The Wizard of Oz. Concerts use a different layout, with floor sections in front of the stage, so the seating advice in this guide doesn’t apply to them.
What to Expect From The Wizard of Oz at Sphere
This isn’t your average show in Vegas, and it isn’t a stage show either. It’s the 1939 film, in a shorter cut, rebuilt for Sphere’s 16K screen, which wraps up, over and around you across 160,000 square feet.
The original was shot for a nearly square screen, so Sphere worked with Warner Bros. and Google, whose AI sharpened the picture and extended the scenery beyond the old frame. The score was re-recorded around the cast’s original voices.
Then the room joins in. Seats rumble, wind and fog sweep through the crowd during the tornado, and apples fall from above. Since September 25, 2026, the show has added animatronic Winged Monkeys, more scents, scented apples, indoor fireworks and “Glinda Glitter.”
The runtime is about 75 minutes, making it an easy daytime or early evening plan that doesn’t take up your whole night. Doors open 45 minutes before showtime, and late seating isn’t allowed.
It’s worth noting that Sphere recommends the show for ages 6 and up, and everyone needs a ticket, whatever their age. Expect flashing lights, loud sound, and objects falling and flying through the room. If you’d rather keep still, Sphere’s Accessibility Services (725-258-6724) can seat you in a non-haptic seat.
Only small bags get in (about 6 by 6 by 2 inches), and outside food and drink aren’t allowed, not even sealed bottles. Photos are fine in the Atrium, but not during the film.
Where you sit changes the show. The picture climbs over your head, so height and the center matter more than being close: the center of the 300 level (sections 305 to 307) is the pick, and the center of the 400 level costs less but is steep. The tornado hits hardest in the 200 sections, so motion-sensitive guests are better off in the upper 300s or the 400s. Our Wizard of Oz at Sphere seating chart goes level by level.
That said, it’s one of the most original things to do in Las Vegas, and a showcase of what entertainment venues could look like in the future.
How to Get the Best Price for The Wizard of Oz at Sphere
You don’t need to waste time hunting down promo codes that don’t exist. Sphere is a premium experience, but these are the real ways to pay less:
- Compare showtimes. Showtimes vary from day to day: up to four showings from 11 a.m. on busy days, while some weekdays have only 5 and 8 p.m. showings. The price changes with the date and the time: when we compared late-October dates, Saturday daytime showings were the most expensive, and weekday evenings were among the cheapest. Don’t assume the matinee costs less, either: on weekdays, the 2 p.m. showing was often the priciest of the day.
- Go up, not forward. The lowest seats aren’t the best ones here, and the center of the 400 level (sections 405 to 407) is usually the cheapest full view in the building.
- Skip the package seats unless you want the perks. Select seats in sections 206 and 306 are sold with VIP packages. Good Witch (from $299) adds a VIP entrance and a $15 food, drink or merchandise voucher; Bad Witch (from $349) adds a pre-show reception in the Delta SKY360° Club with themed food and drinks, a souvenir wand, and a look at Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers when available; The 1939 (from $450, select shows) adds a pre-show VIP lounge with food and drinks, and seats in select suites, shared with other guests, with snacks and drinks during the show. Those are Sphere’s starting prices as of November 2026. If you only want the view, 305 or 307 is almost the same as 306.
- Bring a group. Groups of 9 or more get special pricing on Sphere Experiences through Sphere’s group sales team, and school, military and scout groups can qualify.
- Buy from an authorized seller. All Sphere ticket sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges, so a bad resale ticket can’t be fixed. Stick to Ticketmaster, the Sphere Concierge or our partner Vegas.com. Sphere caps purchases at 8 tickets per order and 25 Wizard of Oz tickets per person per calendar year.
- Save on the rest of the trip. Sphere is a short walk from The Venetian and The Palazzo. Our Las Vegas hotel deals page shows today’s verified prices across the Strip.
Ready to book? Our Vegas.com link lists every showtime with its price, so it only takes a minute to find the cheapest one.
If you’re heading to Las Vegas soon, don’t wait too long. Popular showtimes can sell out, and this show is unlike anything else on the Strip.
