Wizard of Oz Seating Chart (Sphere Experience) Best Views, Best Value and More
Following the massive success of Darren Aronofsky’s Postcard From Earth, there is a new way to experience the world’s most talked-about venue: The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere.
You already know that the building itself has redefined what’s possible with architecture.
Located at the Venetian, it offers entertainment that is visible even from the outside.
It’s 516 ft wide and contains the world’s largest LED screen that wraps halfway around the arena.
You’re here because you want to know where to sit, so lets talk about the seats.
The arena contains 17,600 seats, and of those, 10,000 are haptic, which means if you sit in those seats, you will experience sound vibrations.
Before telling you more about the show, best seats to sit in, seats to avoid etc, here’s a quick look at general seating levels for Wizard of Oz.
- Sections 202 to 210 are towards the screen.
- Sections 302 to 310 are in the middle.
- Sections 403 to 409 are higher up.
What Are The Best Seats In The Sphere?
The best seats are located in section 206.
They also happen to be the most expensive.
Seats in 306 mean you’re in the middle, you get the best view of the screen, along with experiencing the 4D effects of wind and “flying debris” during the Tornado scene.
The seats in section 306 are a part of the VIP experience, “Good Witch Glinda the Good Witch” package.
As these are the best seats in the arena, they are priced at $299.
If you’re looking for a view that gets you close to what you would experience in 306, then you can try getting seats towards the back of section 206.
What Are The Seats To Avoid?
If you’re afraid of heights or suffer from vertigo, you should avoid sitting in sections higher up in the arena.
There isn’t really a bad seat in the arena.
It’s down to preference and budget.
Seats towards the screen in section 200s are priced very similarly to those in the 400s.
Can I Bring Food or Drink To The Sphere?
No, you cannot, and this rule is in line with most other venues in the world.
Once you’re inside, there are options for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and snacks.
