Where to sit: the short answer

  • Best seats

The best seats are in sections 2 and 3, close to the stage: the middle of section 3 has the clearest view of the Throne Stage at the back of the tent, and section 2 holds the raised VIP tables. More

  • Best value

For value, take a seat around row D of section 1: in a tent this small you're still close to the stage, but you're past the three rows the cast picks on. More

  • Seats to avoid

There's no bad section in a tent this size, but skip the first three rows if you'd hate to be part of the show, and know that the back rows are barstools. More

  • Accessible seating

Wheelchair and transfer seats are spread through sections 1, 2 and 3, which are step-free from row A to row H, with 10 wheelchair spaces per show. More

Our guide

Updated Oct 5, 2026 · 4 min read

Absinthe is Spiegelworld's 18-and-over blend of acrobatics and raunchy comedy, and it has played at Caesars Palace since 2011. Its home is the Spiegeltent, a purpose-built tent with air conditioning on the Roman Plaza, at the corner of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard.

The seats wrap all the way around a stage about nine feet across, split into four numbered sections, and Spiegelworld puts the tent at roughly 600 seats, so nobody is far from the performers. Our short answer: sit close to the stage in section 2 or 3 for the best view, or around row D of section 1 for the best value.

Best seats for Absinthe

The best seats are in sections 2 and 3, close to the stage: the middle of section 3 has the clearest view of the Throne Stage at the back of the tent, and section 2 holds the raised VIP tables.

Those tables are sold as the Impresario's Reserve, for guests 21 and over. You get your own elevated table, dedicated VIP service and, on arrival, a bottle of premium Champagne or a 375 ml "Bottled Ambitions" bottle of spirits with mixers. Spiegelworld calls them the best seats in the house, and the tables are spaced out, so you're not elbow to elbow with strangers.

One thing to know about sitting up front: the cast roasts people in the first three rows and pulls some of them on stage. If that sounds like fun, those rows are for you. If not, read on.

Best value seats

For value, take a seat around row D of section 1: in a tent this small you're still close to the stage, but you're past the three rows the cast picks on.

Sitting a few rows back also helps during the aerial acts. As several Reddit users point out, you can follow the performers overhead without craning your neck. Row D of section 3 works just as well if section 1 is gone.

Seats to avoid

There's no bad section in a tent this size, but skip the first three rows if you'd hate to be part of the show, and know that the back rows are barstools.

Section 4 sits at the rear of the tent, next to the Throne Stage. It's on sale like the other sections, and it isn't closed off, whatever older guides say, but it isn't one of the step-free sections. With the stage in the round, every seat sees some routines from behind; that comes with the format, not with one section.

Accessible seating

Wheelchair and transfer seats are spread through sections 1, 2 and 3, which are step-free from row A to row H, with 10 wheelchair spaces per show.

The entrance is step-free too, through the Green Fairy Garden. ASL interpretation, audio description and CART captioning can be arranged with 72 hours' notice, and staff can store mobility devices during the show. There's no coat check.

Section by section

Section 1

Our value pick. You're as close to the central stage as anyone in the room, and from row D back you're out of the cast's line of fire. It has wheelchair spaces and step-free rows A to H.

Section 2

Home of the Impresario's Reserve tables, raised above the floor with room between them. If you're celebrating and don't mind paying for the package, this is the most comfortable way to see the show. Section 2 also has wheelchair spaces and step-free rows.

Section 3

Our pick for the view. The middle of section 3 gives you the central stage up close and the clearest line to the Throne Stage at the back of the tent. The front rows are the most exposed to the cast's teasing; row D and back is calmer.

Section 4

At the rear of the tent, beside the Throne Stage. It's a fine fallback when 1 to 3 are sold out, but it has no step-free rows listed, so it's not the one to pick if stairs are a problem.

Good to know before you go

  • Absinthe is 18 and over, no exceptions, and staff may ask for photo ID. Both VIP packages are 21 and over.
  • The show runs about 80 minutes with no intermission.
  • Showtimes are 7 and 9 pm Sunday to Thursday, and 7, 9 and 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.
  • Absinthe goes dark from November 16 to 29, 2026, while the Spiegeltent is refurbished.
  • Doors open 15 to 20 minutes before showtime. You enter through the Green Fairy Garden, where the Pier 17 Yacht Club bar is tucked away.
  • Restrooms are outside the tent, elsewhere on Caesars property, so go before you take your seat.
  • Most seats are unpadded chairs or stools. Fine for 80 minutes, but don't expect a theater armchair.
  • The Gazillac VIP Experience (21 and over) adds a round trip in a Cadillac Escalade IQ, bottomless bubbly and a No Pants Burger at Pier 17, then an elevated view of the show with an open bar.
