New Year’s Eve fireworks in Las Vegas are all about finding the perfect viewing spot.
From rooftop lounges and high-rise observation decks to lively street parties and exclusive dining spots, the city offers countless ways to take in the midnight fireworks. Whether you want panoramic skyline views, front-row energy on the Strip, or a once-in-a-lifetime helicopter perspective, here’s where to watch the show when the clock strikes twelve.
Where Are the Fireworks Launched From on December 31, 2026?
The Strip’s fireworks show, called America’s Party, goes off at midnight and lasts about eight minutes, fired by Fireworks by Grucci from several resort rooftops at once.
The launch sites for Thursday, December 31, 2026 haven’t been announced yet; last year the organizers unveiled their plans on December 17. On December 31, 2025, the fireworks went up from these 10 properties:
ARIA, Caesars Palace, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, MGM Grand, Palms (just off the Strip, for the first time), Planet Hollywood, Resorts World, The STRAT, Treasure Island and The Venetian.
That lineup stretched the length of the Strip, from MGM Grand at the south end all the way to Fontainebleau near the north end, so the synchronized show could be seen from almost anywhere along Las Vegas Boulevard. The 2025 show also brought the city’s first New Year’s Eve drone show, with 600 drones, and the Exosphere at Sphere ran the official countdown. Downtown, the Plaza launches its own fireworks over Fremont Street.
Plan your evening around the road closures. In 2025, closures began between 6 and 6:30 PM, the Strip from Spring Mountain Road to Tropicana Avenue was shut to cars by 8 PM, and it reopened gradually in the early hours of January 1. If you’re not staying within walking distance, get there early.

Best Viewing Spots for the Las Vegas NYE Fireworks on December 31, 2026
Eiffel Tower Restaurant At Paris Las Vegas
One of the most iconic and romantic spots to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks is the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas.
The restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the entire Strip, from MGM Grand to the STRAT.
They create a special menu for NYE that features mouthwatering dishes, along with great food, you can choose from a range of champagnes that are perfect for toasting.
There are three seatings on the night, but the one you want for fireworks is the Gala seating, which includes live music and a view of the midnight fireworks. You can book online or call 702-948-6937.
Whichever option you choose, just be sure to reserve early, as tables sell out fast.
High Roller Observation Wheel At The LINQ
The High Roller at The LINQ offers a one-of-a-kind vantage point 550 feet above the Strip, giving you a bird’s-eye view of fireworks erupting from every launch rooftop at once.
Each spacious cabin feels like a private party. In past years, the New Year’s Eve packages have combined priority boarding, an open bar and a ride timed for the midnight fireworks.
If we’re being real, this is one of the most memorable ways to watch Las Vegas light up, and one of the pricier ones. The packages for December 31, 2026 weren’t posted when we checked in early November, so check back before you plan around it.
Brooklyn Bridge At New York-New York
The Brooklyn Bridge at New York-New York is one of the Strip’s most energetic street-level spots for New Year’s Eve. The resort has hosted ticketed New Year’s Eve parties on its replica bridge in past years; nothing had been announced for December 31, 2026 when we checked.

Bellagio Fountains Area
How could we not include one of the most iconic landmarks in Las Vegas?
Watching the fireworks from the Bellagio Fountains area feels like the heart of New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. You’ll be shoulder to shoulder with other partygoers, but it’ll all be worth it.
The reflections of the fireworks shimmer across the water while bursts from nearby launch sites such as Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood fill the skyline.
It’s free, central, and undeniably cinematic. Just plan to arrive early, as this section of the Strip becomes one of the most crowded viewing spots by nightfall.
You also guessed it, if you’re planning to stay at the Bellagio for easy access to the fountains, then we’ve likely got a hotel deal for you.
Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas
Sitting directly above the Strip with the Bellagio Fountains in view, Beer Park is one of the best places to take in the fireworks without leaving the party atmosphere behind.
The rooftop patio offers a wide, open perspective stretching from MGM Grand to Caesars Palace, so every burst is in sight. With a DJ, food and an open bar until midnight, it delivers the energy of the Strip with a touch more breathing room and comfort.
Beer Park’s party for December 31, 2026 runs from 8 PM to midnight and is all-inclusive: a house-brand open bar, hors d’oeuvres, a live DJ and a midnight champagne toast, with tax and gratuity included. Tickets are non-refundable, and the price shows when you book.
The STRAT SkyPod Observation Deck
The STRAT Tower rises 1,149 feet at the north end of the Strip, and its observation decks on Levels 108 and 109 are the highest public viewing point in Las Vegas, the ultimate spot for a panoramic look at the entire Strip.
From here, you can watch the launches light up in synchronization down the length of the Strip, and in 2025 The STRAT was one of the launch sites itself.
The STRAT’s New Year’s Eve party takes over level 108 of the tower, with drink service, a live DJ, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight, a calmer, more scenic alternative to the crowds below.
Tickets for the 2026 party are $205 per person, rising to $255 on December 31, with no refunds after December 1, 2026.
Chéri Rooftop At Paris Las Vegas
Chéri Rooftop, on top of Paris Las Vegas, is one of the Strip’s best rooftop spots for the fireworks.
The open-air terrace overlooks the Bellagio and Caesars Palace, so you can expect a clear, unobstructed perspective of the midnight show.
You can also expect a lively crowd, curated cocktails, and a festive French-inspired atmosphere. This is a strong choice for those who want skyline views without the formality of fine dining, but like the other rooftops, this is a ticketed event.
For December 31, 2026, general admission is $300 per person, from 8 PM: an open bar until midnight, passed bites and food stations, a champagne toast, the fireworks at midnight and DJ High Maintenance until 1 AM. General admission doesn’t include a seat, so book a VIP seated table if you want one.
Ghostbar At Palms Casino Resort
Set just west of the Strip, Ghostbar at Palms has one of the most striking panoramic skyline views in the city.
Its open-air rooftop terrace overlooks the full length of Las Vegas Boulevard, making it a perfect perch for the midnight fireworks.
The venue hosts a lively NYE party each year with DJs, bottle service and premium ticket options. Since 2025, Palms has also been one of the fireworks launch sites, so part of the show goes up right next to you.
In 2025, the party ran from 9 PM to 3 AM, with general admission, VIP tickets that added patio access, and tables inside or on the patio. General admission sold out.
The party for December 31, 2026 hadn’t been posted when we checked, so keep an eye on Palms’ New Year’s page and book as soon as it goes on sale.
Pedestrian Bridges on the Strip
Now for something free.
The pedestrian bridges that cross Las Vegas Boulevard double as some of the best free viewing platforms for the fireworks.
Bridges near Flamingo–Horseshoe, Harmon Avenue by ARIA, and Treasure Island–Fashion Show Mall all offer elevated, unobstructed sightlines down the Strip toward the launch rooftops. The view below is from a bridge by Bellagio.
Bridges are easy to access, completely free, and give you that mid-air perspective without needing a ticket or reservation.
You must make sure you arrive early, as space fills quickly once you get closer to midnight. In 2025, the organizers pointed to the north Strip, between Fashion Show mall and Resorts World, as the best area for the drone show.

Plaza Hotel & Fremont Street Experience (Downtown)
If you’d rather skip the Strip crowds, Downtown Las Vegas offers its own celebration at the Plaza Hotel and Fremont Street Experience.
The Plaza launches downtown’s only fireworks show at midnight, from its rooftops above Main Street, at the west end of Fremont Street.
You can watch from street level near the Carousel Bar, from under the glass dome at Oscar’s Steakhouse, or from the hotel’s rooftop pool deck if you’re staying there. Fremont Street Experience’s Countdown Under the Canopy party (21+, tickets from $35 for 2026, with Hoobastank headlining) runs under the canopy just steps away.
Helicopter Tour Over the Strip
We saved the best till last.
For the ultimate New Year’s Eve experience, nothing compares to watching the fireworks from the sky.
Papillon has offered a New Year’s Eve fireworks flight of about 25 to 30 minutes that circles the Strip and Downtown while the resorts launch their synchronized display.
From this altitude, the entire boulevard lights up in one sweeping view. It isn’t cheap, and holiday road closures make getting to the terminal slower, so leave plenty of time.
