The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix returns to the Strip from Thursday, November 19, to Saturday, November 21, 2026, for its fourth year in a row, bringing back one of the most exciting weekends on the racing calendar.

Drivers will complete 50 laps of the 3.8-mile street circuit, about 192 miles in all, under the city’s famous neon lights. The highlight remains the run of more than a mile down Las Vegas Boulevard, past Caesars Palace and Bellagio, where cars go well over 200 mph.

Whether you’re coming for the race, the atmosphere, or the sound of those engines, you’ll need to plan your stay early, and know which roads will be closed.

The good news? Las Vegas has more hotel rooms than any other city in the U.S., and plenty of them sit away from the closed roads.

On our list, you’ll find everything from budget-friendly rooms to luxury that’s made Las Vegas world famous.

Here’s a TL;DR lowdown of what’s on our list.

When is F1 2026 in Las Vegas?

The F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend runs from Thursday, November 19, to Saturday, November 21, 2026.

This includes practice sessions, qualifying, and the main event.

The race itself is on Saturday night. Here’s the full schedule, in Las Vegas time:

  • Thursday, November 19, 2026
    • Practice 1: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
    • Practice 2: 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday, November 20, 2026
    • Practice 3: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
    • Qualifying: 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 21, 2026
    • F1 Grand Prix Race: 8:00 p.m.

As in 2025, the race starts at 8 p.m. And the night doesn’t end with the checkered flag: Sphere, right on the circuit, hosts an F1 Afterparty featuring the Backstreet Boys on race night (you need a three-day race ticket to buy afterparty tickets).

What Race Week Means for Hotel Prices and Traffic

Race week pushes Strip hotel prices up, most of all at the resorts that face the track, such as Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Paris. It isn’t the same story everywhere: in 2025, the Las Vegas Review-Journal found MGM Resorts’ race-weekend rates up on the year while Caesars Entertainment’s were lower. Prices ease the further you get from the circuit, on the south end of the Strip, downtown and off the Strip.

We don’t print nightly rates here, because they move every day during race week. For today’s verified all-in prices (room plus resort fee), check our Las Vegas hotel deals or the page of each hotel below.

The roads matter as much as the room. The 3.8-mile track runs on public streets: Las Vegas Boulevard, Koval Lane, and Harmon and Sands avenues. Setup started in September, and some of it reaches well beyond race week:

  • Two southbound lanes of the Strip and the sidewalk in front of Bellagio, from Flamingo Road to Bellagio Drive, have been closed since mid-September (scheduled through November 9), while the Bellagio Fountain Club spectator zone is built over the fountains.
  • A temporary bridge now carries East Flamingo Road over Koval Lane, which is part of the track. Expect slower traffic on Flamingo.
  • During race week, the circuit closes to traffic every day. The 2026 schedule closes it fully on Wednesday, November 18, from 2 to 6 a.m. and from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.; on Thursday, November 19, from 3 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.; on Friday, November 20, from 3 p.m. to midnight; and on Saturday, November 21, from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Roads start closing two hours before each window. In 2025, Koval Lane was shut around the clock for ten days, so check the official schedule before you travel.
  • Teardown takes several weeks after the race, with more lane closures along the way.

A few ways to keep the closures from eating into your trip:

  • Pick your side. Hotels on the circuit, like Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Paris, Flamingo and The LINQ, put you next to the action but behind the barriers. Resorts at the south end of the Strip, like Luxor and Mandalay Bay, and hotels downtown or off the Strip stay clear of the closures.
  • Get above the traffic. The Las Vegas Monorail runs above street level behind the east-side resorts, from MGM Grand to Sahara, so road closures don’t stop it.
  • Time your rides. Book airport transfers and rideshares outside the closure hours, and allow extra time.
  • Get the alerts. Text F1LV to 31996 for road updates, and check the race’s official transportation site before you head out.

Below are 14 hotels, from luxury to budget, with what each one means for race week: how close it is to the track, and how much the closures will get in your way.

Luxury Hotels With The Best F1 Weekend Deals

Bellagio Las Vegas

Bellagio is one of the most in-demand hotels during F1 week, thanks to its prime location directly along the Las Vegas Strip. It offers some of the best track views and an atmosphere that mirrors the energy of race weekend.

Guests can enjoy pre-race drinks overlooking the Fountains of Bellagio, fine dining at Spago or Prime Steakhouse, and quick access to the circuit right outside the doors.

It’s a great choice for anyone who wants to stay close to the action and experience a touch of classic Vegas glamour. Just expect the busiest sidewalks in town: the Bellagio Fountain Club spectator zone is built over the lake for race week.

Vdara Hotel & Spa

Vdara offers a quieter take on the F1 experience. It’s a non-gaming, smoke-free property that sits right next to Aria, connected by a short walkway. The suites feel more like modern apartments than hotel rooms, complete with kitchenettes and plenty of space to unwind between race events. It’s ideal for travelers who want a break from the Strip’s chaos without losing the convenience of being right in the center of it all.

Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace is as iconic as the Strip itself, and its location puts you right in the center of the F1 action. The grand Roman-inspired design sets the stage, but it’s the variety that keeps guests coming back, from Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen to Nobu and Amalfi by Bobby Flay.

The resort stretches across multiple towers, each offering a slightly different experience, whether you’re after a newly renovated room or a view overlooking the circuit. It’s the kind of place where race-week excitement meets classic Vegas tradition.

Park MGM

Park MGM sits just south of the circuit: close enough to walk to the track, but outside the closed roads, which makes it one of the most convenient hotels for race weekend.

It’s a smoke-free resort, casino included, with a relaxed, modern feel that appeals to both couples and groups. It’s also home to Eataly, Bavette’s Steakhouse, and La La Noodle, giving plenty of food options on the doorstep of your room.

The rooms are comfortable, understated, and a short walk from T-Mobile Arena.

Paris Las Vegas

If you thought Eataly at Park MGM brought Europe to the Strip, then Paris will make you think you’re actually in Paris this race weekend. The replica Eiffel Tower and cobblestone-style walkways set the tone, and the resort sits right on the circuit, across the Strip from the Bellagio fountains. Many rooms overlook the Strip, though in race week that also means the closures start at your door.

Mandalay Bay

Mandalay Bay is one of the best options for families heading to Las Vegas for F1 week. Located at the southern end of the Strip, it offers a little more space to unwind and sits well away from the closed roads. Even though the pool complex winds down for the season in November, there’s still plenty to do. Everything from visiting the Shark Reef Aquarium to exploring shops and attractions in the connected Luxor and Excalibur resorts.

MGM Grand is one of the largest hotels on the Strip, and it’s one of the most reliable choices for a room this F1 weekend. Its size means there’s something for everyone, and not just rooms. When the racing events are over, you can unwind at shows like KÀ by Cirque du Soleil or Now You See Me Live, challenge your friends at Topgolf, or explore the resort’s many lounges and restaurants. There’s also convenient access to the Las Vegas Monorail, making it easy to get around without relying on race-week traffic.

Durango Casino & Resort

Now let’s take you off the Strip. Durango is one of the newest resorts in Las Vegas and offers a fresh alternative for race fans who don’t want to stay in the rush of the Strip.

The property has a sleek, modern design, comfortable rooms, and a lively casino floor that feels more local than touristy. You’ll find plenty of restaurants, including the Eat Your Heart Out food hall, and relaxed outdoor spaces that make it a nice retreat from the race-week crowds. You’ll need a car or a rideshare to reach the circuit, so it works well for those who prefer space and value over being right in the middle of the action.

Circa Resort & Casino

If you’d rather skip the closures altogether, look downtown. Circa, at the end of Fremont Street, is a few miles north of the circuit, so race week barely touches it, and you can still get to the track by rideshare.

Circa is for guests 21 and over only. Its Stadium Swim pool amphitheater, open all year, faces a 143-foot screen that shows games and events. Add its sportsbook and Barry’s Downtown Prime steakhouse, and it’s a natural base for sports fans who want the race-weekend buzz without the barriers.

Budget Hotels With the Best F1 Weekend Deals

Luxor Hotel & Casino

Luxor is one of the most recognizable hotels in Las Vegas, thanks to its pyramid shape and bright beam that lights up the night sky. It’s also one of the best-value options for F1 week, offering affordable rates while keeping you right on the Strip. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and a free tram links Luxor to Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. You’re well south of the closed roads, and a rideshare gets you to the track. For fans who want an easy race week without the premium price tag, Luxor delivers exactly that.

The atmosphere is laid-back, and while the rooms are simple, they’ve been refreshed in recent years to feel brighter and more modern. For F1 fans looking to stay in the middle of the action without overspending, Flamingo offers great value.

The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The LINQ is another hotel with a great central Strip location, offering quick access to everything happening during race week. The rooms are compact but modern, with clean finishes and smart layouts that make good use of space. Outside, the LINQ Promenade offers plenty to explore — from shops and bars to the High Roller Observation Wheel, which gives a great view of the Strip and parts of the F1 circuit.

If you’re looking for an affordable base in the heart of it all, The LINQ is hard to beat.

Plaza Hotel & Casino

Downtown again, at the head of Fremont Street, the Plaza is the budget way to stay clear of the closures. You’re a few miles from the circuit, so plan on a rideshare to the track.

Rooms are straightforward, and some look out over Fremont Street. The rooftop pool deck, open only to hotel guests, overlooks the Fremont Street Experience, with a pool heated year-round and pickleball courts alongside. Oscar’s Steakhouse is on site when you want a sit-down dinner away from the race crowds.
