The New York-New York Theatre has a maximum capacity of just under 1,300 guests; most nights, it is close to capacity. When purchasing tickets, you’ll see that the theatre is divided into four sections: stageside, 100s, 200s, and 300s.

What seats offer the best views for Mad Apple?
Quite a few areas in the theatre will provide a good view. Like any show, some of the best seats are at the front.
If you want to be front and center for all the action, sections 102 and 103 on the lower level offer prime, center-stage views. These sections put you close enough to feel the energy of the performers while still providing a comfortable distance to take in the full spectacle. You could go for seats in sections 101 or 104. However, you will not have a central view of the stage.
Sitting anywhere in the 100s section will mean you have excellent views, but it’s important to note that you will be paying premium prices. Ticket prices range from just under $90 to $212.

Value depends on what you’re looking for. If you just want to attend the show, you can get “stageside tickets” for $25. However, you might not enjoy the show. Most Redditors say that stageside tickets are not worth the $25 as you’ll be watching the show from behind or the side.
