Our pick, Category B: the center tables of section 1, behind the booths. You see the whole stage straight on, where the big illusions happen, for less than Category A.

Where to sit: the short answer

  • Best seats

The best seats are the center tables of section 1, behind the booths: you see the whole stage straight on, close enough to the volunteers, and they're Category B. More

For value, take the center of section 1 in Category B rather than the front tables in Category A: you lose a few rows, not the view. More

Our guide

Updated Oct 5, 2026 · 3 min read

Now You See Me Live brings the heist-magic films to the stage: four illusionists as the Horsemen, large-scale illusions and audience volunteers, from the producers of The Illusionists. It makes its U.S. premiere at MGM Grand on October 15, 2026, for a limited run through January 5, 2027.

It plays the MGM Grand Theater, David Copperfield's room until his last show on April 30, 2026: about 740 seats, all close to the stage. Section 1 fans out around the stage with tables and a curved row of booths; section 2 sits behind an aisle. Our short answer: the center tables of section 1, behind the booths.

Best seats for Now You See Me Live

The best seats are the center tables of section 1, behind the booths: you see the whole stage straight on, close enough to the volunteers, and they're Category B.

The Category A tables in front of the booths are closer still, right at the stage, and the most expensive. For big stage illusions, sitting a few rows back costs less and shows you more of the picture.

Best value seats

For value, take the center of section 1 in Category B rather than the front tables in Category A: you lose a few rows, not the view.

Section 2, behind the aisle, is Category C. Its front rows are the next best buy, still a short distance from the stage in a room this size.

Seats to avoid

Avoid the far sides of section 1 if you can: they're Category B like the center tables, but see the stage at an angle, which matters for illusions built on where you're looking from.

Row S, the last row along the back wall, is Category D, the cheapest seat in the house. It's fine for the price, but it's the furthest from the stage.

Accessible seating

Wheelchair spaces are in section 1, toward the back, along a side aisle. MGM's seat map has a filter that shows them; book them online or through the MGM Grand box office.

Section by section

Section 1: front tables

A few tables right at the stage, front and center, sold as Category A. The tables either side of them are Category B.

Section 1: booths

A curved row of booths separates the front tables from the rest of section 1. None were on sale on the date we checked.

Section 1: middle and back

Rows of round and long tables back to a curved aisle, all Category B on the date we checked. The center tables are our pick; the side ones are just as close, at more of an angle.

Section 2

Behind the aisle: a deep block of tables on one side and a shallower one on the other, Category C, then row S along the back wall, Category D.
