4th of July in Las Vegas – Your Guide To What’s On In Sin City (Fireworks, Shows & Things to Do)
Spending 4th of July in Las Vegas? From fireworks on the Strip to rooftop parties, poolside DJs, and world-class shows, Sin City knows how to put on a proper Independence Day weekend.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to watch fireworks, what’s happening across the July 4th weekend, and the best ways to stay cool, stay entertained, and make the most of your trip.
First things first…
Are There Fireworks in Las Vegas for the 4th of July?
Yes, fireworks are in multiple places, but the only traditional fireworks show on the Strip will be at Caesar’s Palace. Fireworks launch from the Julius Tower at 9:00 p.m. The best viewing spots include the fountains in front of the resort, the Roman Plaza, the Spanish Steps, or the LINQ Promenade across the street.
If you’re looking for a fireworks display in Downtown Las Vegas, then the only place that offers fireworks will be the Plaza Hotel & Casino on both July 4th and 5th, starting at 9:00 p.m. on each night. Their rooftop pool party (ticketed) offers one of the best viewing experiences downtown.

Now for the rest of Vegas:
- The Sphere (Digital Display). Okay, so not a fireworks show in the traditional sense, but The Sphere will feature a special Fourth of July light display on its exosphere at 9:30 p.m. and 11:40 p.m.
- Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa will host fireworks at 9:00 p.m. Poolside viewing is available for guests and ticket holders.
- Durango Casino & Resort Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m., with entertainment and food options on site.
- Floyd Lamb State Park will offer daytime activities followed by fireworks at 9:00 p.m.
- Buckskin Basin Park is a part of the city’s “Blast Off in the Basin” event, featuring food trucks, live music, and a fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.
- Green Valley Ranch is another Station Casino that will offer a fireworks show, starting at 9:00 p.m. Poolside access begins at 7:30 p.m.
- Henderson Heritage Park will host a free, family-focused event starting at 6:00 p.m. with entertainment and a 9:00 p.m. fireworks display.
So yes, there’s no shortage of places to catch a fireworks show in Las Vegas on the 4th of July.
But what about the rest of the day? It’s going to be hot, so if you’re looking for daytime plans, a pool party might be the move.
4th Of July Pool Parties
From July 3 to 6, several of Vegas’ biggest dayclubs are teaming up for a city-wide celebration.
A single all-access pass (priced at $125 for men and $99 for women) gets you into multiple venues, including TAO, OMNIA, Hakkasan, Marquee, JEWEL, and Palm Tree Beach Club.
If you’re only heading to one, general admission tickets are available at a lower price.
Here’s a look at the main pool parties happening across the long weekend:
TAO Beach
TAO Beach isn’t just a pool.
It’s a 47,000-square-foot day party built into the heart of The Venetian. Expect palm trees, plunge pools, private cabanas, and a sleek crowd that’s there for both the scene and the sound. The DJ booth and LED screens crank up the energy by mid-day, turning this tropical escape into one of the Strip’s most in-demand daytime parties.
General admission is $30 for men and $20 for women.
Palm Tree Beach Club
Palm Tree Beach is one of the newest pools in Las Vegas.
Opened by Kygo and a host of VIPs like Sydney Sweeney and Jessica Alba on May 3rd, it brings a laid-back, festival-style vibe to the Strip.
Set at MGM Grand, it brings all the open-air energy, luxury poolside dining and entertainment. For the July 4th weekend, you’ll feel like you’re at a summer party crossed with a beachfront lounge.
General admission is $30 for men and $20 for women.
Marquee Dayclub
Marquee’s rooftop pool deck at The Cosmopolitan hits that sweet spot between party and luxury. July 4th weekend events will give you Strip views, plush daybeds, shaded spots to recharge, and a sound system that doesn’t miss. When Beatbreaker takes over the booth on July 4th, expect the vibe to flip from chill mode to full-on party mode.
General admission is $30 for men and $20 for women.
Encore Beach Club
Encore Beach Club is one of the most luxurious pools in Vegas.
You’ll find three-tiered pools, palm trees, and private bungalows with their plunge pools set the scene for poolside luxury.
On July 4th, country star Dustin Lynch headlines with Brandi Cyrus jumping in as a guest. Expect a diverse crowd and a packed pool deck.
General admission is $60 for men and $40 for women. Expedited entry is $100.
Drai’s Beach Club
Set on a rooftop overlooking the Strip, Drai’s mixes pool party heat with hip-hop swagger. Two sleek pools, tons of palm trees, and a main stage that keeps things moving all day. For the 4th, they’re throwing an R&B Block Party. Expect throwback hits, a looser vibe, and a crowd that’s here for the music as much as the scene.
General admission is $30 for men and $20 for women.
Shows To Watch on July 4th in Las Vegas
Not into pool parties? Or maybe you’re just looking for a solid plan after the sun goes down.
Vegas doesn’t slow down for the 4th. Some of the city’s biggest shows are running right through the holiday.
Awakening
Awakening at the Wynn is a storytelling spectacle. The rotating stage is constantly in motion, shifting with the narrative. Expect precision choreography, visual effects, and an atmosphere that feels immersive without being confusing.
Showtimes: 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM
Tickets from: $79
O by Cirque du Soleil
Set inside the Bellagio, O is Cirque’s aquatic masterpiece. The stage shape-shifts into a massive pool as performers dive, flip, and float through dreamlike scenes. It’s a surreal mix of synchronized swimming, acrobatics, and theater that feels big, bold, and distinctly Vegas.
Showtimes: 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM
Tickets from: $103
The Sphere Experience: Postcard from Earth
The digital display for 4th of July will let you experience the Sphere from the outside, but you can also go inside.
Inside the Sphere, Postcard from Earth plays more like an experience than a show. The screen wraps around the entire theater, while audio, scent, and motion effects pull you into the story. It’s part sci-fi, part travel documentary, and nothing like a typical night out in Vegas.
Showtimes: 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM
Tickets from: $84
Shin Lim: Limitless
If you’re looking for magic, you’ll want to watch Shin Lim at the Palazzo. Shin Lim’s show is built around close-up magic. The tricks are tight, the transitions are smooth, and the mood lends towards elegance over flashy.
The show could be a start to the perfect Vegas evening.
Showtimes: 4:30 PM & 7:30 PM
Tickets from: $78
Absinthe
Okay, now onto something completely different. Let’s talk about Absinthe.
Absinthe doesn’t hold back.
The show is fast, dirty, and unpredictable. It blends raunchy comedy with high-level acrobatics.
The show takes place in a tent outside Caesar’s Palace, adding to the chaotic, underground vibe.
Not for kids, not for anyone easily offended, but definitely a night to remember.
Showtimes: 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM & 10:00 PM
Tickets from: $132
What Else is On in Las Vegas for the 4th of July?
Not everything in Vegas has to involve fireworks, pool decks, or sold-out shows. If you’re here with family or just want something more low-key, there’s still plenty to see and do around town.
You could catch Blue Man Group, take the kids to the M&M’s Store, or let them burn off energy in the Fun Dungeon arcade at Excalibur. If you’re after something scenic, head to the top of the STRAT, ride the High Roller at LINQ, or book a quick helicopter tour over the Strip. The Bellagio fountains are always a crowd-pleaser, especially if you time it right before the fireworks, but remember the area with the fountains will be extremely busy.
And if you’re trying to keep costs down, we’ve got you covered.
