MJ Live is a Michael Jackson tribute concert: a lead performer in the role of the King of Pop, with dancers and a live band. After more than a decade at other Strip resorts, it moved in September 2026 to the Saxe Theater, in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
The showroom, on the third floor, is also the home of Vegas! The Show, and every row curves around the stage like a fan: rows A to K on the main floor, then row L, a walkway, and a block of rows M to X at the back, off to the left. 408 seats were on sale on the theater's seat map for the night we checked. Our short answer: VIP, rows A to F in the middle.
Best seats for MJ Live
The best seats are VIP, rows A to F in the middle of the fan: they face the stage head-on, the closest straight view of the singing and the dance numbers.
VIP also takes in rows A to C on either side of them, at the same price. Every row curves toward the stage, so the sides face it too, but from one end of it: for the same money, the middle is better.
Best value seats
The best value is Preferred, rows G to K in the middle of the fan: right behind VIP and still head-on, for less than VIP on the date we checked.
Preferred also covers rows D to K on the sides of the fan. Standard, the cheapest category, is the block of rows M to X behind the walkway.
Seats to avoid
Rows T to X, the short last rows of the back block, are the furthest seats from the stage, and the whole block sits off to the left of it. They're Standard, the cheapest tickets.
Two seats in row H, one on each side of the fan, are marked OV on the theater's seat map and sold at the Standard price, less than the Preferred seats around them. The map doesn't say what the mark means: ask before you book one.
Accessible seating
Twelve wheelchair places line row L, at the back of the main floor, sold as Preferred. The theater asks guests who need accessible seating to call 702-260-7200 once they've booked.
Section by section

The first three rows either side of the middle, five or six seats each: seats 100 and up on the left, 300 and up on the right.
Preferred, rows G to K, center
The back half of the middle of the fan, 18 to 20 seats a row, still head-on to the stage. Our value pick.
Preferred, rows D to K, sides
The rest of the two sides, rows D to K on the left and D to J on the right, five to seven seats a row, curving toward the stage.
Row L
The wheelchair row, at the back of the main floor, just in front of the walkway.
Standard, rows M to X
A separate block behind the walkway, seats numbered 400 and up, set off to the left of the stage: up to 18 seats a row at the front, three in row X at the back.
