MJ Live is a Michael Jackson tribute concert: a lead performer in the role of the King of Pop, backed by dancers and a live band. It has played the Saxe Theater, in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, since September 21, 2026, after more than a decade at other Strip resorts. It’s open to ages 5 and up.
What to expect
Two impressionists share the lead role, Jalles Franca and Santana Jackson. The set runs through Jackson’s career, from Jackson 5 songs such as “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There” to the solo hits: “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Bad,” “Thriller,” “Smooth Criminal” and “Dangerous.” The dance numbers follow his routines move for move, the costumes are modeled on his, and the music comes from a live band. It’s staged like a concert, with lights and effects, and the crowd is invited to sing along.
Good to know
Ages 5 and up, according to the theater; children must come with an adult, and everyone needs a ticket.
Older listings may still place the show at Harrah’s, its home until September 2026, or show it dark on Sundays: it now plays the Saxe seven nights a week.
The Saxe Theater is Suite 454 of the Miracle Mile Shops. Its lounge on the main level has a full bar; the showroom, with stadium seating, is on the third floor.
Vegas! The Show plays the same theater at 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday, so you can see both in one evening.
Where to sit
Every row of the Saxe Theater curves around the stage: rows A to K on the main floor, then a walkway and a block of rows M to X at the back, off to one side. VIP, rows A to F in the middle, faces the stage head-on and is our pick; Preferred rows G to K, right behind, are the best value. Our MJ Live seating chart maps every category.
