Piff the Magic Dragon is a deadpan British comic and magician in a dragon suit, the breakout star of America’s Got Talent, with a chihuahua named Mr. Piffles II as his partner. He has headlined the Flamingo since 2015, in the Flamingo Showroom since 2020, with more than 2,000 shows behind him and a contract that runs through 2027. The show lasts 75 minutes.
What to expect
Picture a gloomy stand-up comic who happens to do very good magic. Piff plays every trick bone-dry, and the set is a best-of drawn from his six earlier solo shows. Mr. Piffles II, billed as the world’s only magic-performing chihuahua, comes on in his own dragon outfit, showgirl Jade Simone works the stage with Piff, and members of the audience get pulled into the act.
Good to know
Caesars lists the show as open to all ages, but Piff’s own site recommends it for ages eight and up, and Ticketmaster sells it as 8+. Dress is casual.
Mr. Piffles II is a clone of the original Mr. Piffles, the rescue chihuahua who joined the act in 2009, and now does all the shows.
Ticketmaster sends orders of 20 tickets or more to Caesars group sales.
Where to sit
The Flamingo Showroom is a cabaret room of tables and booths in curved rows, facing a stage with a short runway; for Piff, Ticketmaster sells the floor alone. Our pick is the first row of booths, 5 to 8, close to the stage and facing it, where the dearest seats were when we checked. Booths 41 to 46, about two-thirds of the way back, were the cheapest, at about half the price. Our Piff the Magic Dragon seating chart maps every row.
