Jabbawockeez are the masked dance crew that won the first season of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew in 2008. They first headlined the Strip in 2010, and they’ve been at MGM Grand since 2015, in a theater that carries their name. FREQNCY, their fifth Vegas show and the successor to JREAMZ and TIMELESS, opened there in October 2025. It’s billed as a show for all ages.
What to expect
Everyone wears the same white mask and gloves, so you watch the crew as one body rather than a lineup of stars. The idea behind FREQNCY is that everything runs on its own frequency, and the show tunes through decades of music, from hip-hop and R&B to rock, EDM and pop. Expect breaking, acrobatics and tumbling, a ’70s disco number, a sequence danced inside laser beams, and a basketball shooting contest with people pulled from the crowd.
Good to know
Audience participation is part of the show, on stage or from your seat.
The theater has its own bar, but no table service, and drinks stop when the show begins. Restrooms are outside the theater, so go first.
No bags larger than 12 by 12 by 6 inches; the MGM Grand Bell Desk in the lobby checks bigger ones for free. Cameras with interchangeable lenses or an external flash aren’t allowed.
Meeting the crew after the show takes a separate meet-and-greet ticket. MGM Grand doesn’t validate parking for show guests.
Where to sit
The stage sits in a corner of a small room, so face it head-on: the center of section 2, rows B to F, is our pick. The center of section 3, rows G to L, is the best value. Avoid the sides of sections 2 and 3, where the rows bend toward the stage and you miss part of the show. Our Jabbawockeez seating chart maps every row.
