RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! brings the TV competition to the Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas, where it has played since January 2020 and passed its 1,000th performance in March 2025. A rotating cast of queens from the Drag Race franchise takes the stage each night. RuPaul directed it with choreographer Jamal Sims, and it’s open to all ages.
What to expect
Think of a season of Drag Race squeezed into one night. The queens face off in lip syncs, dance numbers and runway looks, a host works the room and brings each of them out, and a troupe of dancers fills the stage around them, with clips of RuPaul on the screens in between. The soundtrack mixes hits from the series with original songs written for the show by RuPaul, Leland and Tom Campbell.
Good to know
The cast rotates. The summer 2026 lineup had Asia O’Hara as host, with Jaida Essence Hall, Kylie Sonique Love and Season 17 winner Onya Nurve, but no queen is guaranteed on a given night, so don’t book for one name.
Open to all ages; dress is casual.
Over the holidays it plays every night from December 26 to New Year’s Eve.
RuPaul’s Werk Room, the Drag Race boutique at the Flamingo, opens daily at 4 PM: merchandise, makeovers and a chance to meet the performers.
Where to sit
The Flamingo Showroom is a cabaret room: a stage with a short runway, curved rows of tables and booths, the sound desk in the middle and a balcony at the back. The front tables, tables for two either side of the runway, are the closest seats. Booths 19A and 20A, in the middle of the floor, were the cheapest floor seats when we checked, and the balcony the cheapest of all. Our RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! seating chart maps every row.
