V – The Ultimate Variety Show is a fast run of specialty acts with no story to tie them together: jugglers, acrobats, magic, comedy and aerialists, around host Wally Eastwood. It has played the V Theater, in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, since 2004.
The V Theater is a complex of four showrooms, and V plays V1: 369 seats on Vegas.com's seat map. Rows AA to DD curve around the front of the stage, a center block of rows A to J sits behind them, and a side of angled rows flanks it on each side. Our short answer: rows A to G of the center block.
Best seats for V – The Ultimate Variety Show
The best seats are rows A to G of the center block, sold as VIP: right behind the floor rows, facing the stage straight on, with all of it in view.
The acts come in every shape, from a juggler at center stage to acrobats using its full width and aerialists who fly out over the seats. From the center block you see each of them whole.
Best value seats
VIP is also the best value: on the date we checked, it cost less than VIP Floor, rows AA to DD in front of it, for a view that's just as straight.
For less, Preferred covers rows H to J at the back of the center block and the first four rows of each side. Standard, the cheapest category, is the rest of the two sides.
Seats to avoid
Skip the ends of rows BB, CC and DD if you can: they're VIP Floor, the same price as the middle of those rows, but they curve round beside the stage, so you watch the acts from the side.
Rows H to M, at the back of the left side, are the furthest seats from the stage and set at an angle to it. They're Standard, the cheapest tickets. Vegas.com flags no seat in the room with an obstructed view.
Accessible seating
Five wheelchair places sit at the right end of row DD, seats 20 to 24. They weren't offered online when we searched for two tickets; the V Theater asks guests who need them to call 702-260-7200 once they've booked.
Section by section
Rows AA to DD (VIP Floor)
Four curved rows around the front of the stage, the closest seats in the room and the dearest. Row AA has ten seats, right at the stage; the ends of rows BB to DD wrap round beside it.
Rows A to G, center (VIP)
The heart of the room: seven rows of 14 to 18 seats, numbered 200 and up, straight in front of the stage. Our pick.
Rows H to J, center (Preferred)
The last three rows of the center block, still facing the stage. Row J has only six seats, on the left.
Left side, rows A to M
The biggest block after the center: thirteen rows angled toward the stage, seats numbered 100 and up, with a staircase behind the last rows. Rows A to D are Preferred, E to M Standard.
Right side, rows A to F
A short block between the aisle and the wall, four to six seats a row, numbered 300 and up. Rows A to D are Preferred, E and F Standard.
