About the tour
Grand Canyon Deluxe with Hummer
Grand Canyon Deluxe with Hummer is Papillon’s full day at the South Rim, inside Grand Canyon National Park. A Twin Otter Vistaliner or Cessna Caravan flies from Papillon’s air terminal in Boulder City to the Grand Canyon airport, about 70 minutes each way, over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, the Mojave Desert and the Colorado River.
There a Hummer from Buck Wild Hummer Tours, open-air in the warm months and enclosed when it’s cold, takes you along the rim for 2½ to 3 hours, on paved park roads only. The guide picks the stops by the crowds of the day, among them Mather Point, Yavapai Point and its geology museum, Grandview Point or Grand Canyon Village. A box lunch is included.
Plan on the whole day: about 9½ hours from hotel pickup to drop-off on the tour page, 10½ in Papillon’s FAQ. Transport from selected Strip and Downtown hotels, about 60 to 90 minutes before the flight, is part of the tour, or you can drive to Boulder City yourself. The tour runs every day except December 25.
Everyone 18 and over needs an original REAL ID-compliant license or a passport; without one, Papillon refuses check-in and refunds no one in the booking.
Check in 45 minutes before flight time, or the booking is cancelled as a no-show. Changes are free until 72 hours before departure. Cancelling by then gets you a credit voucher for the full price, good for a year, not a refund; inside 72 hours, no changes or refunds. Reconfirm by phone a day or two ahead.
All ages are welcome. Kids under 8 (or under 4 ft 9 in) need a car or booster seat in the Hummer, lent free if you ask when you book.
From 300 pounds, you pay for an extra comfort seat at check-in. Children 2 to 11 have their own fare, and under-2s fly free on a lap.
Not a US resident? Since January 1, 2026, international visitors 16 and over pay an extra federal fee to enter Grand Canyon National Park, on top of the tour price.
