Axehole Vegas is an axe-throwing range Downtown, inside Neonopolis at 450 Fremont Street, right on the Fremont Street Experience. Nobody needs to have thrown anything before: a coach trains every group, and a standard session lasts one hour, which makes it an easy add to a birthday, a bachelor or bachelorette weekend, or a night out on Fremont.
What to expect
Your coach starts with safety and technique, then gives you practice throws at the wooden targets until the axe begins to stick. The rest of the hour turns into scored games against your friends, with a few trick shots along the way. The VIP session adds spears, ninja stars, shovels, metal throwing cards and specialty axes, and Cosmic Axe Throwing plays the same game in a neon glow.
Axehole also runs a 15-minute rage room for up to three people: a safety briefing, protective gear, then a small pile of breakables that are yours to destroy.
Good to know
Throwers must be at least 7, and anyone from 7 to 17 needs a parent or guardian’s permission.
Beer is sold on site and you can’t bring your own. There’s no food for sale, but catering from outside is welcome.
Closed-toe shoes are required in the rage room.
For a bigger group, a private party takes over every lane for about an hour and a half, with tournaments and one-on-one coaching.
